We put some mad new coilovers in Supergramps, now we're wiring in some electronic control so we can adjust them from inside the car.

Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. Twice i've tried to buy MCM stickers and twice was told that my card was rejected..Then I get an email asking if I still want my Maaaaad stuff, yes I do but your store won't accept my prepaid debit card.

  • As a old-school bmw owneet project car too you have to be careful withyour oldskool books and written docs as they're quite rare to get in real Haynes or even English written German ones as no ody liked oldskool BMWs but being a rear wheel drive with do many options for instance mine is a 5 series and was approx 200k new as it's a special model a 535is and that's basically got a few parts in comment with the e34m5 I have spent lost count on it but I have gone from front to back top to bottom the only thing left is now to paint it in original colour which is 1of 3 colours as you will find it depends on the time of day when the car got painted as to what shade it is unless you bite the bullet and use a colour that is kind of mic if all three and you won't be able to tell without a 200k machine that does it for you how many microns thick and also what tints and so fourth are in it which shade of red or blue or white is usually safe as is good and purple or royal blue and they call it I'm guessing your doing a 3 series but don't go past the 5series it's hadleing is sublime the 528i lsd diff is a great strong diff and built to eat road wether top spead or just fanging it about also there is some awesome turbo and supercharger mods for them which are pretty easy to do diy for you project car plus when they are all done they truly are an amazing driveing car and a well built daily can at the press of a button or two be a drift ma home or track machine they are Soo much better Japanese cars and the clubs and forums for help are great stay away from main dealers unless you need a part that you can't find try to stay open if possible but slot of the gear is made in China and America and some Baltic country's the comfort level and balance of the 5series is to me and I was an Italian car guy and a commadore guy the level of comfort of a 30 year old car with 200kms plus on it as long as a modicom of service history had been done if you can a fully log booked example and a 1or ,2 owner car your in Holy Grail territory due to the influx of ppl now figure out how much car you get for so little money like you bought the focus rs for that money you could have had a V10 manual M5 M6 or even M3 if you keep to the older models the E30m3 prices are now a bit high as r the M5 E34 and other special models in oth 3&5 like the AC shintzer and the hamman and the well u get the idea I wish I could tell you I have a car for you that's perfect for your show and well I do but it owes me now probably a total roller value it's worth nearly 150k but that's because it's a logbooked fully period correct .ods apart from the stereo as it was going to be a showcar T first but then I broke the original windscreen with bass so it became a buildit back to get it perfect driving and listen ing car and spare no expense to make it the best you can now I have decided to swap out original parts and store them like engine and rims as it's got factory fitted hamman pg1 18" rimsso I swapped to 19"type 2 ac shnitzer also I will be swapping to possibly a non BMW engine conpkeatly if I can find one it will be a Judd racing engine for BMW cars specifically so a V8 that revs like a 20b Wankel but I also may squeeze a v10 from the newer e60model I to it I think 550hp are is fine stick add a supercharger like prochargwr style not a roots blower like a 8/71 blown out of bonnet job or one of the newer twin scrool penut superchargers like they use on jaoe ese car inconjunction with a turbo and a nitro fogger around the intercooler and make z street 800hp track 1700-2000hp but if I vo to that sort of power it will be mini tubbed I'm also building a memorial car in a supercharged mini Cooper s it will have all the upgrades you can and owe me approx 60-100grand at the end but this is a car that is being built to remember my mother who was taken too early by cancer and she had given me permission to upgrade it as long as it was streetsble not stupid and it had handsfree Bluetooth for her fone and mag wheels well it's now as it is going to be a widebuny full rocketbunny style but in the German it euro way which is simply clean and sleek with no badges except the car maker or mini in this case as the car is light you will know this ad you have an old mi I original shape with a engine swap I'm not swapping the engine basically I'm making a fully race ready streetsble engine that you could put in a rallycross car so normally about 650hpatw however since that involves going 4wd I think less hp and better tourque distribution adwell as a better lsd and traction control or a raceligic which you can put how much power is available in everygear so you don't over power it. It it's blisteringly fast I think 450hp are is more that enough it will be prepped for a 4wheel drive option as soon as I decide or figure out which is better the system from the gtir pulsar or a aftermarket version or a cileca gt4 version or what anyway pay hommage to the generous that is BMW I never drifted s other car that if you just to swap side of drift or go from left ha d slide to right hand slide to get you back to the tetering point u let go of the steering wheel and it self straightens no later if it's aftermarket suspension rims and whatever as long as it's been wheel alignment and had fence t road race bilushings and upgraded away bars and the engine has had proper work fine the old skool kind hand die grind port and polish and then extrude home and full port polish blueprint and power upgrades done right you will never own another car fir racing again unless you need 4x4hadleing if so buy an Audi but if it's just drift drag circuit or gymkhanas BMW has you covered

  • Nice addition guys, I had the Tein EDFC in my skyline years ago. Although the setup and motors are pretty much identical, I think I would prefer that than what I can see of this cusco one. The controller and the adjuster was all in one box and a little nicer to use. since I didn't smoke and nobody smoked in my car, I cut out the back of the ashtray and put it inside so you couldn't see it.
